Hugh Mackay is a social psychologist, bestselling author and the man described as 'the man who explains us to ourselves.' He'll be discussing his latest book Just Saying [https://librarycatalogue.goldcoast.qld.gov.au/client/en_AU/default/search/detailnonmodal/ent:$002f$002fSD_ILS$002f0$002fSD_ILS:195837/one?qu=TITLE%3Djust+saying&qu=AUTHOR%3Dhugh+mackay&te=ILS&lm=EXCLUDE_CORPORATE&h=1] — a warm, witty and occasionally challenging collection of personal reflections on twenty-five quotes from the world's greatest thinkers, exploring the big themes that shape how we live: kindness, prejudice, equality and what it means to do better. 



We'll depart Currumbin RSL together at 10:30am and be back by 12:30pm.



Spaces are limited so book early. Gold Coast Libraries members can place a hold on Just Saying to read and enjoy in your own time. We also invite you to stay on for lunch at the RSL afterwards to keep the conversation going!
